Oersoep hosts a radio show on Bruzz every other Tuesday night at 21:00.
Rather than curating each episode entirely to our own taste, we stick to our philosophy of sharing as much as we possibly can. We regularly reach out to our partners or local fellow artists to see if they could use an hour of radio, and that often leads to surprising listens.

From radio reports made in prison to full album playthroughs by Belgian artists, every show brings something different.

From time to time, we broadcast live and invite as many artists as possible to join us on air, presenting them airplay they might not otherwise receive, and providing them with content they can later use to promote themselves.

During these shows, all tracks played in between interviews follow our “Small World” principle: every artist we play gets to choose the next Belgian artist to follow them, creating an eternal chain of local music. This way, the community shapes the playlist, allowing Oersoep to step back from making unnecessary artistic decisions and avoiding the slippery slope of accidental gatekeeping.

The idea behind our Inside Out series is simple: we record live music sessions wherever "it’s allowed". As with most of what we do, we make sure we involve as many curious souls and people with ideas as possible, hopefully making it a valuable experience for both the crew and artists.

One of our podcasts/radio shows, created by Tijmen Govaerts, Annelies Bontjes, and Adam Russell.
In each episode, they welcome a guest into their little Toyota Yaris and cruise through Brussels by night. The listener gets to join the ride as the guest chooses both the route and the playlist.

Mostly cosy but occasionally eye-opening: the intimate atmosphere inside the car often encourages guests to share things they’ve never said in front of a microphone before.

During our regular Tryout Nights, a handful of artists get about 25 minutes to share what they're working on in front of a small group of listeners. The lineup is always a mix of artists from our studios and external acts, and with each bringing their own crowds, the evenings are both cozy and valuable.

Just like at all our events, anyone curious about what happens behind the scenes  can spend the evening with the technical/production crew. We’ll show you the ropes!

Because we consider it problematic when initiatives that claim to support the community choose to act against other like-minded initiatives, our guiding principle is collaboration over competition. ​
 

Because more is more no?

That’s why we regularly and openly make it known that we’re available to talk whenever someone has an idea worth exploring together.

We have space, energy, and a strong network capable of turning ideas into reality. In short, we have everything except an excuse not to at least try!
